Donate in the app

You can make a monthly or one-time contribution right inside the app.

How to donate:

Go to Profile → Settings → Donations and follow the prompts.

Payment types supported:

  • Credit or debit card
  • Apple Pay / Google Pay


Why donate?

NewForm helps people in recovery access free community events, meaningful connections, and supportive tools every day. Your donation directly funds the technology, security, and community programming that make this possible.

Donating is always optional.

Troubleshooting donations

If your payment isn’t going through:

  • Update to the latest version of the app
  • Try again or try another payment method
  • Check with your bank
  • If issues continue, reach out through Profile → Settings → Contact Us

Why is my donation pending?

Some payment methods may take a few days to process. This is normal.

Changes & cancellations

How do I change my recurring donation amount?

Go to Profile → Settings → Donations. Select your active monthly donation using the Edit button, then choose a new donation level and follow the prompts. Your updated amount will take effect at your next billing period.

How do I change my recurring payment method?

Cancel your recurring donation, then start a new one with updated payment details.

How do I cancel my recurring monthly donation?

Go to Profile → Settings → Donations, select your active monthly donation (using the “Edit” button), and select the option to cancel your donation.

How do I cancel my one-time donation?

For a refund on your one-time donation, please reach out to us at accounting@thephoenix.org and our team can support.

Taxes & receipts

Is my donation tax-deductible?

Yes. NewForm is operated by The Phoenix, a U.S. nonprofit 501(c)(3). Consult a tax professional about your specific circumstances.

How do I get my receipt?

Receipts are available in-app under Profile → Settings → Donations → Donation receipts. One-time and recurring receipts will also be sent via email following each transaction.

Can my company match my donation?

Many do! Provide your employer with The Phoenix’s nonprofit information and EIN.

Privacy

Is my payment information linked to my NewForm account?

No. We do not store credit card numbers, and payment details are handled by our secure payment processors.
